Roland Chlapowski

Senior Project Manager

Roland is a member of the Youth Services team and oversees the SummerWorks youth employment program as well as other youth training initiatives. He joined Worksystems in 2016.

Roland previously worked for the Oregon Employment Department where he oversaw the region's on-the-job training program. He also served as a Senior Policy Director for Commissioner and then Mayor Sam Adams, acting as his liaison to the Portland Bureau of Transportation. He has a Bachelor's in Economics with a focus on public policy from Reed College.

Originally from Boston, Roland moved to Portland in 2001. He's an avid foodie and health fanatic. Roland owns and operates a vegan coconut cream gelato business in his free time and he has a strong interest in nutrition and herbal medicine.
