    Anab participated in our youth employment program SummerWorks for several years providing community outreach and organizing in her own neighborhood. Originally from Somalia, Anab moved to the United States when she was 7 years old. As part of Multnomah County's STRYVE (Striving to Reduce Youth Violence Everywhere) program, Anab’s internship focused on promoting healthy activities and building community among the neighborhood’s diverse immigrant residents.     Worksystems funds and supports training for participants in the Economic Opportunity Program (EOP), an initiative to help low-income individuals develop career goals and pursue training that lead to self-sufficiency. EOP brings together various partners that provide services to low income participants as a team. This network provides participants with a multitude of on-ramps to intensive employment services.
