    One of our Reboot NW training partipants was recently given the Portland Women Who Code's 2018 Rising Tech Star award! Brandi "Charly" Welch received the award based on community nominations, including one from her company's Chief Technology Officer. Charly is a formerly homeless single mom who completed technology training funded through our Reboot NW program. With help from her program-sponsored career coach, she has overcome poverty, bought a house and is now employed as a full stack engineer at DiscoverOrg in Vancouver. The campaign helps to connect job seekers and employers and highlights training programs that prepare people for career track employment in the region, including our Reboot program focused on manufacturing and IT training.
