    Meet these outstanding participants from our SummerWorks program! SummerWorks is an initiative that provides work-readiness training and paid work experiences to area youth. For many, this is their first job.     We are excited to announce a new partnership with the Portland Haulers Association to provide free training to those interested in in becoming recycling/garbage haulers. Entry-level wages range from $18-$29/hour with benefits and Portland Hauler Association member companies are hiring!     On May 7, Worksystems hosted our 3rd annual Portland Youth Opportunity Job Fair with over 1,500 youth in attendance! The virtual event featured 16 regional employers with immediate job openings and paid internships available and numerous offers were made to job seekers on the spot. The fair also featured a resource center where youth obtained information on high school completion, post-secondary education, apprenticeship opportunities, financial literacy, employment services, job-related dress, record expungement, and housing information.
