Funding Opportunity and Results

In our role of overseeing the workforce development system, WSI procures for goods and services when a need exists and funds become available. Once goods and services are purchased and a contract is in place, the successful bidder will be posted on this site. Performance outcomes are measured on all contracts for program services. Defense Industry Manufacturing Consortia Grant

Closes August, 2009 or until funds are expended
Grants of $20,000-$50,000 allocated to defense industry manufacturing consortiums
Defense Industry Manufacturing Consortia Grant Timeline (pdf)
Funding training that will increase competitiveness through workforce development in a wide geographic area
Eligible applicants: companies and/or training providers that meet qualifications
Qualifications:
- Participating employers must make and sell a product or component whose ultimate end user is the US military
- Companies submitting proposals must bid as part of a consortium or industry association
- Training providers submitting proposals must have letters of commitment from qualified companies

A. At this time there is no anticipated contract amount set. If you feel that your research has a range of depth and therefore cost, please note in your proposal with cost variations.

Q. Does the seven page proposal length limit include resumes?

A. No, resumes will not be counted within the 7 page proposal limit.
