Manufacturing supports high-wage jobs with an average annual wage--$49,700--that's substantially higher than the average state wage.

Oregon manufacturers in Region 2 (Multnomah and Washington counties including the City of Portland) recognize they need a competitive advantage to succeed in today's technology-driven global economy. They need ready access to a skilled and productive workforce, lean manufacturing processes and a culture of continuous improvement.
