Youth Council, Chair, Mike McBreen - Staffed by Sharon McFarland

The Youth Council is a subcommittee of the Workforce Investment Board and directs the development of the strategic plan for the Youth Workforce system and makes recommendations to the Workforce Investment Board regarding youth issues.  The Youth Council is composed of representatives from business, education, support services and government. The Youth Council is charged with the Workforce Investment Board's Strategic Plan goal for 2007-2009 to ensure that youth and the emergent workforce have the academic and core competencies required by employers.
