Governing Documents
The Workforce Investment Board offers leaders a forum for high-level policy discussions and decision-making authority over workforce services in our region for job seekers, businesses, youth, and workers. The Board is uniquely situated to make these decisions. The composition of the board includes representatives from labor, workforce, economic development, education, and community-based organizations. In addition, Commissioners from Multnomah and Washington Counties and the City of Portland hold seats on the Board. The controlling interest on the board is the business community and some of the largest and most influential business leaders in the region are members of the Board.
