Employer Workforce Training Fund
Are you a business located in Washington or Multnomah Counties? Are you interested in applying for funds to train your workers? If so, this information is for you.

Governor Kulongoski has established the Employer Workforce Training Fund to support the retention and growth of living wage jobs, a skilled workforce, and competitive businesses in Oregon. Worksystems, Inc. works with a team of workforce development, education and economic development partners, called the Workforce Response Team, to prioritize and award these funds in Multnomah and Washington Counties. Funds will be available again in July 2007.

Between September 2006-2007, Multnomah and Washington County Employers were awarded $1.6 million to provide a variety of training activities to their workforce. Since 2003 approximately $4.6 million has been awarded to local employers. Results from each round of grants are available on this web site.
