Worksystems' industry initiatives share four common elements. They:

  3. Promote strategies that help new and transitioning workers enter the industry and support pathways to career advancement for existing workers.
  4. Build a mutual investment model (public/private) to achieve better outcomes for both workers and multiple businesses within the industry.

Economic Development - The quality of the regional workforce is a driver of economic development. • Reduces employee turnover – assisting employees in attaining precisely the skills they need to thrive and move up within an organization.

  • Reduces employee training costs – Saving money and time by targeting training and development budget on employees with skill gaps
