Leatherman Tools Vocational ESL classWorksystems, Inc. Regional Competitiveness Training Fund (RCTF) is a blend of training dollars from various sources designed to:

  • Maximize impact of limited federal and state workforce funds on regional economy
  • Align federal and state workforce funds in the region with Workforce Board strategic plan
  • Target training resources to meet needs of high growth/high demand industries
  • Skill-up incumbent workers
  • Train new workers to industry specifications for demand occupations that meet standards for public investment

Skill panels in our targeted industries are essential elements of this effort. They are business-led groups that are co-convened by industry associations and WSI and charged with identifying training priorities, developing training plans supported by WSI training funds, and selecting their training providers.

This project is funded in whole or part with funds from Employer Workforce Training Funds administrered by the Oregon Department of Community Colleges and Workforce Development.

Employer On-The-Job Training (OJT)

We can help you train and retrain skilled workers. You can be reimbursed for a portion of the wages paid to workers during their trianing period.
